Belarusian students at an excursion with lecturers and PhD students of the department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering
Within the framework of the TENOR project, two students from BSTU Stefania Lukashevich and Katsiaryna Lapian participated in the Internship at NUWEE.
The internship consisted of practice at 3 principal departments at NUWEE: Department of Agrochemistry, Soil Science and Agriculture; Department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering; Department of Hydroinformatics. There were a number of NUWEE scientists, lecturers and supervisors for the period of internship: Oleg Pinchuk – PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Hydroinformatics, Oleksandr Hrytsyna – PhD of Engineering, Associate Professor at the department of Department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering, Mykola Kizeev – Head of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering, Maria Blyashina – senior lecturer at the Department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering, Victor Kovalchuk – Assosiate Professor, PhD at the Department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering, Alla Kucherova – senior lecturer at the Department of Agrochemistry, Soil Science and Agriculture, Tetiana Kolesnyk – Head of the Department of Agrochemistry, Soil Science and Agriculture.

Excursion to the brewery
The internship program included the study of Course "Design of water treatment and environmental protection technologies"
During the internship students visited wastewater treatment plant of Rivne, where they had an opportunity to get acquainted with technical equipment, laboratory, and examined several samples of active sludge.
Also students visited the brewery in Rivne, familiarized with the technology of beer production, had a talk with the technologist of the enterprise.
Students visited Ltd "UKRBIOTAL", familiarized with the main directions of the company, studied their installation for water treatment, the advantages over the classical equipment for water purification.

Stefania doing laboratory experiments
Stefania Lukashevich and Katsiaryna Lapian were involved in a laboratory research on allelopathic interactions of Lactuca sativa with plants in aquatic polyculture. All laboratory activities were done at the Department of agrochemistry, soil science and agriculture.
Also eventful programme of social activities was suggested to the students, which included different excursions around the city of Rivne and Lviv.
